The SRDA is
pleased to announce that BS8490:20007 has
now been published by BSI,
a standard dedicated to Siphonic Roof
Drainage. The SRDA helped shape this
document, which will give specifiers,
developers and contractors even greater
confidence in this tried and tested drainage
system.
Although
siphonic drainage has been installed in the
UK for over 25 years, and other standards
have set out basic parameters, this
dedicated BSI standard is a very welcome
indication that siphonic drainage is a
technology, the pedigree of which, is now
proven beyond dispute"
